Getting Started
DrawBoard is a whiteboard for sketching diagrams, wireframes, and notes with a hand-drawn look — inspired by Excalidraw.
Opening the tool
Just go to draw.designpav.in. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
No account, no login, ever. DrawBoard doesn't have a login screen at all — it's not that you're logged in anonymously, there's genuinely no account system. Everything you draw is saved automatically to your own browser (see Saving Your Work), not to any server.
Your first drawing
- Pick a tool from the toolbar at the top of the screen — start with Rectangle.
- Click and drag on the canvas to draw a shape.
- With the shape still selected, use the panel on the left to change its color, fill, and stroke style.
- Press
V(or click the arrow/cursor icon) to switch to the Selection tool, then click your shape to move or resize it.
That's the whole loop: pick a tool, draw, style it, select and adjust. The rest of these pages cover each part in more depth.
(Screenshot suggestion: the empty canvas with the toolbar labeled, and a second shot of a freshly-drawn styled rectangle.)
